"Our Christmas party for 80 colleagues and guests at the Riverbank Restaurant was a great success this year. Despite this being an extremely busy time for the manager he found the time to discuss and deliver all our requests. On the evening the food, accommodation and service were excellent and the evening went very smoothly.

As soon as we arrived we were immediately welcomed by the friendly members of staff then bumped up to the best room in the house free of extra charge! Gorgeous room, delicious food and right on the doorstep of Truro. Absolutely worth every penny. I would 100% stay again. Its perfect for a romantic get away!

We recently stayed in Truro for a long weekend. We looked at several hotels online and most were either too expensive or had bad reviews (abrupt staff, run down, etc). Then my wife stumbled on The Riverbank and it was well priced (£80/night I think it was) and the rooms looked lovely. Professionally looking website too.

The staff were very helpful when we rang up to book. We were traveling down from London on a Thursday night and potentially could have arrived after midnight, which is after the reception closed. But they said not to worry and they would wait for us. We were also traveling with our young baby, and they were more than happy for us to keep her food in their kitchen fridges throughout the stay. We ate breakfast 3 times, and it was good.

Enjoyable short stay here in a very well equipped, clean & comfortable room. Excellent food - tasty and massive portions! I'd have marked it higher but the live music on the Wednesday night boomed into the room until 11.30pm, after which it was very quiet. Would recommend it and will return, no problems.
